I have been involved with sales my whole life starting with several fast food restaurant that my parents owned.When I married I continued the tradition and expanded into selling old indian jewerlyat the local market on the weekends. Then in 1981 I went to work for one of the finest old jewerly stores in Tampa where I became the manager of the Carrollwood store and top salesperson in the company.For the last twenty one years I have been employed with Alvin Magnon Jewelers selling diamonds pearls and gold, holding several degrees from the GIA in diamonds,pearls and gold.
Eleven years ago I became interested in showing and breeding the rare breed dog the Coton de Tulear, the happy outgoing anti stress dog of the twentieth century.This breed loves to travel and on one of our trips we stopped in the mountains of Arizona ,while there I walked into a real estate office saw a log house listed and within twenty minutes I had my first log house!!
The following summer was the happiest of times, decorating and living in this log house was a real treat and I decided that when we returned to Fla I would hunt for the perfect spot to have the log home of my dreams, My husband wanted to live on the water and I wanted the log home so after researching different log companies I felt that cypress was the perfect wood to build my dream house, We traveled to Mo, saw pine and other products and that only reinforced my decision to build with cypress as it is non toxic and termites don't like it. Now to find the special water view, that was easier than I thought, my son had a friend that was willing to sell us an acre on the largest natural lake in Hillsboro Co, high on a hill with a million dollar view. We now have the perfect home, one that family and friends can come and enjoy------------living in a log home is a piece of heaven on earth and I want everyone to experience this marvelous feeling.
